16 Positive Affirmations For Depression

I recently got into using affirmations for my depression symptoms. It is amazing how much saying a few words in a mirror of a morning or through out the day can change your mindset.

Using these affirmations for depression will not work at first. You need to continue implementing it. Say these affirmations every single day, as many times as you need. Eventually you will say these things so much that they will become your truth.

As soon as any bad thoughts start taking over your mind, push it aside with these affirmations. Get into a habit of doing this and you won’t regret it. Trust me.

I would recommend coming up with a few of your own that relate to your experiences and feelings. Here are a few of my favourites that I personally use:

“I am good enough!”

“ I am so strong. I have been through so much to get to where I am.”

“I am worthy of love and an amazing life.”

“I am loved”

“My opinion and voice matters.”

“I love myself and my body.”

“I believe in myself and my abilities.”

“Today is going to be an amazing day!”

“It doesn’t matter if I don’t do everything perfectly today.”

 “I choose to be happy.”

“I will no longer listen to Negative Thoughts.”

“I will never give up on my dreams.”

“I am so grateful for the people in my life.”

“I am beautiful.”

“I am thankful for my health.”

“My depression does not control me!”

What are some of your favourite affirmations? What are your experiences? Do they help you? Let me know in the comments. I would love to get to know you all more!

I love you all,

ColourfulHope xoxo

Words are powerful because they can either make or break a person. Affirmations are indeed important and should be said to ourselves and to others more often. Thank you for sharing!
