“Everything happens for a reason.” This is a philosophy that I have believed for as long as I can remember. It is the reason why I am here today.
Any hardships that you go through are set up by the universe so you can get to the place that you are destined to be. It is all set up so you can learn from your mistakes or experiences and reach your higher purpose.
Why Do I Believe This?
As I have mentioned before, in my “Working In Retail With Social Anxiety” Post. My first job wasn’t the best. Actually it was friggin terrible to be quite honest with you. From bullying management to being horrendously underpaid, I can’t stress enough how bad it was. However, I believe that where I am now sprouts off of that.
If it wasn’t for me being so badly bullied by one member of management, I would never have left when I did. If I hadn’t have left that job when I did I would never have found my last job. Also if the last shop I worked in didn’t close when it did, I wouldn’t be in the job I am now. And I am now a supervisor. I am actually trusted to run a shop and keep people in line. Little shy, anxious, extremely quiet, me!
Yes, when my last job closed down I genuinely thought it was the end of the world. I felt depressed for days and kept thinking that “nothing good ever happens to me”/ “I might as well give up!”/ “I’m always going to be miserable.”
But little did I know, the universe had a little story in mind for me all along, and what was happening actually turned out to be a good thing in the long run.
My Mental Health Journey Happens For A Reason –
Anyway, the main point that I am trying to make in this blog post is that I wouldn’t be here, now without the experiences I go through. I have lived with some form of mental health issues for as long as I can remember and I always believed the universe had it in for me.
Although, here I am now. Sharing my experiences with you guys.
I very strongly believe that I was made to go through all this trauma, so I could create this blog and help others. There is always a positive end to a sad story, you just need to wait and let the universe do it’s thing. It’s almost like you are living in a book and you are living it as the author writes. Your day will come.
One day you will wake up and know exactly why you went through what you did. You will know your purpose and be living your best life. Just wait.
“Everything Happens For A Reason” Mentality” –
This mentally has helped me so much recently. Next time anything bad happens to you, just think “well there must be a reason”. Try writing it down too, and look back on it in a few years time. I guarantee you will be in a much better place.
I’m not saying you can’t have bad days or be sad. That is perfectly normal and I still experience a fair few. However, by using this mentality I have learnt how to get out of my slumps much quicker. Especially with all my reasons to believe this mentality to be true.
I definitely believe in fate and you should too. It will get better. You are destined to do amazing things. Trust me.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post. I thought I would share something a little bit different. Sorry, it’s a little shorter than usual too. I’ve been listening to the Radical Transformation Podcast a lot recently which definitely gave me the inspiration I need to write this post. Faith is absolutely amazing and her goal is to help as many women with their mental health. Just like myself. Check out her website here!
Do you believe that everything happens for a reason? What experiences have you been through to get to where you are now? Let me know in the comments! I would absolutely love to know.
Thank you for reading.
