Dating With Social Anxiety Tips

If you have social anxiety, going on dates must sound like an absolute nightmare. It certainly does for me. Even getting a message on a dating app about meeting up made me feel sick.



I’m an incredibly nice person so I still feel guilty about the time I stood a guy up due to my social anxiety. I went to the location, saw him standing there, panicked, and immediately turned back. I apologised but let’s just say he didn’t message me again. Completely understandable.

Self-love. A difficult skill to come by if you struggle with mental health issues like myself.  On some days, even trying to think of one thing I love about myself can be a massive challenge. 

I used to be awfully shy, I hated my skin, my body, my hair. Literally everything about myself. If you told myself 3 years ago that I now run a blog where I preach about self-love… She will honestly never believe you. My self-love journey has been a long and winding road filled with many ups and downs. But I am finally at a perfect place where I want to be and never thought I would be.
