Welcome to my first post in my new storytime series. My time in retail has been an extremely long, challenging, but fulfilling journey. It first began in 2013 when my anxiety and depression was at its peak after I left college. I hope my story can spread hope and positivity that we all need right now.Read more
Panic attacks are incredibly scary. A panic attack definition is a sudden episode of intense fear that triggers severe physical reactions when there is no real danger or apparent cause. It is perfectly normal for you not to know why you are having an attack, although not knowing can make the process even scarier. Many people even confuse panic attacks for heart attacks or think that they will die, which will naturally make you panic even more.Read more

If you have social anxiety, going on dates must sound like an absolute nightmare. It certainly does for me. Even getting a message on a dating app about meeting up made me feel sick.
Im an incredibly nice person so I still feel guilty about the time I stood a guy up due to my social anxiety. I went to the location, saw him standing there, panicked and immediately turned back. I apologised but let’s just say he didn’t message me again. Completely understandable.

Time management has been a life saver for me. Ever since I started working full time as a supervisor and running a shop by myself on some days, it would be impossible to get through a day without it. I honestly can’t stress enough the importance of time management.
Therefore, throughout this past year I have been putting together and using the best time management techniques every single day. Especially now that I need to fit in blogging over a full time job. This is something that I have suffered with for a long time now. I’ve been working extremely hard on overcoming relationship anxiety throughout the years.
I have had social anxiety all my life. Although I didn’t always realize I had it. The social anxiety symptoms have always been there but they have always been brushed aside as something else. This was because I was made to believe I was just “shy” all through my school years.
I didn’t understand why I wouldn’t put my hand up in class and ended up hating myself for it even though it wasn’t my fault at all. It was social anxiety. People and teachers especially need to be more aware of the symptoms. Hence why I am writing this blog post. Please share this post to raise awareness on this issue because it needs to be done.Read more
