11 best blogs on mental health and personal development 2021 edition.

Are you tired of scrolling the web for mental health tips and advice only to find popular, scientific articles that you can’t relate too? Me too! It’s one of the reasons why I created my own blog.

That’s why I decided to create this list of amazing blogs on mental health so you don’t have to worry about searching for the best ones ever again. This post will continue to be updated and shout out bloggers who cover all sorts of topics. Including:

I’ve been following Blessing Manifesting for a while now. It was one of the first mental health blogs that I discovered before even starting my own. 

She talks about the many ways to improve your mental health, and especially focuses on self-love, self-care and, dealing with anxiety and depression. 

She also has her very own shop with some amazing digital products. Including; an anxiety workbook, daily self-care pages, and a self-love workbook. 

The bright, colourful, and fun design on her products and blog will immediately boost your mood.

2. Healing Unscripted

Healing Unscripted is a smaller mental health blog that I discovered more recently. This won’t stop you from absolutely falling in love with it. 

Megan (the owner of Healing Unscripted) focuses on supporting people throughout their healing journey. 

She uses her blog as a place to connect with others, show understanding, and will make you feel human when your mental illness is making you feel depressed or anxious. 

She also has her own shop, which includes; an anxiety-proof mornings e-course, a colouring book, stickers and more.

3. Okay Now Breathe

Meagan is one of my favourite mental health bloggers out there. She writes amazing content on all things mental health, personal growth and even Spirituality. 

Meagan has recovered from self-harm and is living with anxiety, social anxiety and depression and has been for many years. 

She started Okay Now Breathe to help others dealing with a mental illness and who want to become a better person. 

You can also find her podcast, meditations and shop on the blog too. So much brilliant content to help you improve your mental health.

4. The Balanced CEO

The Balanced CEO is slightly different from the others but has still helped me a lot to remain sane on my journey. 

The founder, Michelle, talks about personal development, self-care, and taking care of your mind, body and soul as an entrepreneur. 

If you are a current or aspiring online business owner then you will absolutely love and benefit from reading this blog.

 It will help to keep your mindset in check when you don’t feel good enough or when imposter syndrome creeps in.

5. RoseThornsandHoneyDew

A quick mention because I only recently discovered Karen (the founder of rosethornsandhoneydew) and I ended up spending a long time on her blog. 

She writes about self-love, self-care, wellness and productivity. Some great content and the design of her blog is gorgeous.

6. Simply Bentley

Kelsie is an amazing blogger who focuses a lot on self-care and personal development. 

Her main aim is to spread awareness on how important it is to look after yourself and stop with all of the self neglect. So you can improve your mental health and become the best version of yourself. 

Her logo is “find your spark” and I really want that for you, so couldn’t not share her blog and products with all of you.

7. She Dreams All Day

She Dreams All Day is a great blog for introverts with big dreams. People with social anxiety can also connect with this. 

Mia writes on a variety of topics including personal development. 

They will help you to show up as your best self, set goals and keep your mental health in check as you chase your dreams.

8. The Recover Clinic

The Recover Clinic is a great blog on mental health that I actually had the privilege to write a guest post for about my experience going through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Their content revolves around living with and coping with a mental illness, therapy and more. 

It’s definitely worth a look through. Here a few of my personal favourite blogs on mental health that they have on their site:

9. Anxious Lass

I can’t praise this mental health blog enough. Kels is the person who inspired me to become a mental health blogger and I have a lot to thank her for.

Anxious Lass focuses a lot on coping with social anxiety disorder and explains it in a really relatable and simple way. I first discovered it many years ago when I was scrolling through the internet looking for advice.

 This was the first blog I came across that actually made sense. That’s why I had to share it with you today.

10. Put The Kettle On

Yolanda created this blog to help others create the life that they love, and really appreciate the life that you have.

She wants to help women like you and me to find the happiness that we all deserve, and discover our purpose in life.

Radical Transformation Project is one of the first blogs on mental health that I discovered over the years. Faith is amazing and will never not be included on this list.

She covers a wide variety of topics including: depression, self-care, anxiety, relationships, and health after coping with mental health issues for most of her life.

Over the years, she has transformed her life and become very established in the mental health and blogging industry, and her aim is to help other amazing women like you, to achieve just this.

A few of my favourite Radical Transformation Project blogs are:

Faith has many courses and programmes to help your mental health on her blog. She is also an amazing mindset and blogging coach.
